Reactions/Observations:

This is a rendition of the well-known counting rhyme, 1”one, two, buckle my shoe”. This book is filled with high contrast colors and patterned designs that easily attract the attention of babies. The illustrations are bold and beautiful, allowing for easy counting.  I have read this book in baby storytime.  They enjoy the rhythm of the rhyme along with the large images of farm animals. This book is ideal for babies and toddlers, but preschoolers will benefit too. Preschoolers will also enjoy pre reading this book with their parents and also by themselves.
