Reactions/Observations:
This book is adorable! The illustrations are cute and trendy.  Each image is boldly outlined and personified with a pair of big round eyes. Wan uses her playful imagery  and bright palette to show the special bond between a parent and child.  We Belong Together  is the second book in the series by Joyce Wan.

The text and imagery are simple enough for young audiences to enjoy, but also witty enough to charm older audiences.  I plan to use this book alongside a flannel for toddler story time.  Children and parents alike will coo at the cute comparisons and sweet artwork. The durable nature also allows for younger readers to page through without assistance allowing for better print awareness and print motivation practice.
