Reactions/Observations:
This book is a delight! The rhyming text is silly and fun to read.  Children enjoy the humorous imagery accompanied with the positive text. The little girl happily expresses her confidence in herself inside and out. Catrow's illustrations are contagiously happy.  The people in the book appear to be from multicultural backgrounds which allows children of various backgrounds to identify with the characters in this book. I Like Me  is invaluable. Children and adults often struggle with appreciating their uniqueness.  This book provides a happy way for parents to discuss this issue (and hopefully snuff it out).
